In his novel "Across the River and into the trees" , one of Hernest Hemingway' s characters says that Bologna is the only city where you can eat wonderfully well. BOLOGNA
The principal city of the region Emilia Romagna is Bologna, a cultural and culinari capital. The historic centre is considered one of the best preserved and maintened in Italy. One of the first things you notice is how every street is lined with arcades, the PORTICI. The city claims 70 Km. Of Portici, including the single 4 Km. one that climbs up to San Luca, more than any other city in the world. It is not easy to fully and synthetically illustrate everything visitors to Bologna can discover in the city, so we hope that this will encourage you to try to discover the charme of our city.

BY CAR FROM SUD ITALY (A14):
On leaving Bologna fair district(exit 7 from the Tangenziale),turn left onto Via Stalingrado after crossing a bridge over the train station, turn left again onto "Viale Berti Pichat", the road that circles the centre. Stay on this road as it becomens Viale Filopanti, Viale Ercolani, Viale Carducci, and viale Gozzadini. You will then arrive at Piazza di Porta Castiglione and here take the right onto Viale XII Giugno. At the end of this road you will arrive at Piazza dei Tribunali, take the first road left and thenn left again onto Via de' Mattuiani where the Hotel is located . ZONA 1D (YELLOW)

FROM NORTH ITALY (A1)Milano-Firenze:
Exit "Bologna Casalecchio" and follow Asse Attrezzato Sud-Ovest for 1 km, go ahead and follow Via Camellini for 4 km and then Viale Pietro Nenni for 1 km until Bologna. Go always straight ahead and follow Via Giuseppe Saragat for 300 mt, turn the roundabout Rotonda Luciano Romagnoli towards Viale Gandhi, proceed for about 650 mt. and then follow Via Tolmino for 426 mt. Then turn left, follow Via Sabotino for 700 mt.
At the and of Via Sabotino, turn right toward Porta S. Mamolo.
After the 4th street light Keep the left,the first street on the left VIA SAVENELLA,following the Hotel sign you will reach the Piazza Dei Tribunali. (ZONA 1D YELLOW-- NO UNIVERSITY ZONE)
